Going to the Mornington Peninsula? Hire a Luxury Minibus

Melbourne is truly a world city with so much to do and so much to see, but it’s also blessed to be close to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Whether you’re a local looking to get out of the Big Smoke for a day or a visitor looking for an authentic experience, plan your next trip to the Mornington Peninsula in the comfort of a luxury 11 seater minibus hire.

Here are some must-see spots for any honest visit to this picturesque retreat from big city life.

  • London Bridge

If you’re driving down from Melbourne, make your first stop at the scenic London Bridge Lookout, located on the southern tip of Point Nepean National Park. On a clear day, observe the sand formations and scenic vistas that this beautiful lookout has to offer. There are plenty of other excellent lookout points, but London Bridge is located near a carpark for ease of getting back to your luxury minibus as well as boasting amongst the most beautiful views (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as always).

  • Sorrento Ocean Beach

Located south of London Bridge Lookout along the coast is the beautiful Sorrento Beach and lookout point, Coppins Lookout. Catch some sun and watch the surfers coast over wave after wave, enjoy an afternoon coffee, cuppa, or savoury treat at a nearby cafe, and rejoin your luxury minibus in minutes’ of walking distance from this relaxing beach.

  • Peninsula Hot Springs

Picking up the trail along the coast from Sorrento Beach, make a stop at the famous Peninsula Hot Springs. Be warned that the hot springs are quite popular and space is limited, which means that there may be crowds about. If you don’t mind being a little close to others and want a heavenly experience, take a dip in the hot pools or spend some time in the sauna to relax your muscles and soothe your soul.

  • Cape Schank Lighthouse

Located all the way south and overlooking Bushrangers Bay, historic Cape Schank Lighthouse makes for a great late afternoon or early evening venture. Go before sunset and if possible get a tour of the museum to learn more about the lighthouse’s rich history. As with the other sights listed here, a car park is conveniently located nearby the lighthouse itself and the Two Bays Walking Track that leads along the coast and then back up towards another car park for easy pickup. If you’ve got the time, walking the trail takes about an hour but many visitors like to hop across to the rock pools located nearby.

  • West Head Lookout

Budget time for one last important stop: West Head Lookout in Flinders. It does get a little busy at times, but it’s often calm enough to take in a beautiful sunset without too many tourists out and about. Go at low tide for exceptionally beautiful views.
